Room 528, Wednesday Evening
It had been three whole days, and the rest of her family had not yet shown up wielding lawyers and demanding she be turned over, so Emma was starting to relax again.
So to celebrate, Emma had the radio up, a mug of hot coco, and was playing chess against herself, French homework ignored for the moment. Sometimes (usually) her sense of relaxation was a little different from most people.
[Fixed the broken internet, so open door & open post to celebrate!]

After wandering out to Kansas City in the course of the day, most of the things Fandom had to offer were not quite up to the same caliber.
So, he decided to drop in on one of his favorite ladies of the school. He leaned against the frame of the doorway with his shoulder and spoke. "I guess that's one way to win," he announced.

"How are you, Mr. Bishop? Escape the weekend unscathed?"

He shrugged. "May I come in?"

"Different versions of the same person I can handle. For instance, I'm going to start collecting how many versions of Scott Summers I can meet."

"Hopefully you aren't overconfident in your skill," she replied. "I'd have to reconsider our date if you were finished in five moves."

"I'm not kidding when I say I'm a genius," Peter boasted. "And that's actually proven, if we go by IQ."
He smiled. "But smarts and skill are very different things, I will admit that." He started helping her reset the board from where he sat.

Which meant, clearly, she had to go and bother Emma.

"How goes the practicing?"

"Not bad, I don't think?" Ino replied, wandering into the room to claim a chair. If Emma didn't like it, Emma would tell her so, Ino figured. "Ain't so great at doing it--automatically, though, you know? And if I get distracted I lose where I was goin' with an attempt pretty quick."

A beat.
"Do you think it's possible to implant a suggestion in someone's mind for them to act on once a trigger word has been said?"
no subject
"I don't know how long it lasts for, as I rarely get the chance to follow-up, but I ought to check-in on one or two of my subjects."
no subject
Because who needed the baby steps, right? Oh, Ino.
