The nice part about having been cornered up against the counter was that Emma could pry her hands off Jack for a moment to boost herself up on to the counter and wrap her legs around his waist to tug him closer, only needing the smallest of breaks in kissing and teasing.
"Snack later," she breathed, leaning over to pull him into another kiss. "Dessert now."
