Shreveport, Louisiana - Fangtasia [Thursday Evening]

Fangtasia was just starting to attract its evening crowd by the time they arrived. There was a line of people dressed in everything from trailing black gowns to...well, not very many clothes at all outside the distinctly un-flashy-looking red bar. It was part of a strip mall, after all, and if not for the red awning and velvet ropes -- plus the neon script Fangtasia sign in the window -- it could have been any number of boring, small stores.

( And of course, the tall, svelte blonde in the black floor-length gown didn't help. She was definitely a vampire, and definitely taking IDs as people walked in. And she was making 'disdain' an art form. )
