Room 528, Saturday Afternoon

Emma had gone and found a copy of the movie in question, and also handwavily checked out a copy of the script from the library, just for reference. After all, they might want to compare the two, if they ended up mocking the movie's shortcomings.

For now, however, she was sprawled out on the bed with her laptop, checking out the extra features on the movie. Technology here? Awesome. These were so much cooler than VHS tapes.

[OOC: Up early for SP goodness with a Difficult Boy, but open before him, sure. ETA: They made it through the movie before getting NWS, but it's getting dirty...]

"Honestly, I think it's just that it's funny," Jack answered. "That's most of why I like it, anyhow. And it gave the clowns in the company something to do." He reached out a hand to trace her cheekbones. "You like happy endings?"

"Don't all girls like happy endings?" she quipped, glancing up at him. "I thought it was a requirement."

"Oh, as if I'd confuse you for all girls," he said.

Emma laughed, turning her face into his touch. "Good," she said smugly. "I like being one-of-a-kind. I'm horribly selfish that way."

"Now that is not a surprise at all," he told her, and slid in for a kiss.

She wasn't going to object to the kiss, and Emma responded by deepening the kiss and reaching up one hand to slide her fingers into his curls.

"Are you calling me predictable?" she giggled between kisses. "I think my feelings are hurt."

"How can I make it up to you?" he asked, kissing her again. She had a wonderful mouth.

"You're off to a good start." Emma pulled away for just a moment to shut the laptop and set it on her floor quickly. The last thing they needed was to knock it over and end up interrupting themselves.

She smiled at him before leaning in to nuzzle at his neck. "Now, where were we?"

"I think we were" -- squirm, and his hand went to the small of her back -- "talking about how happy you are to audition on Tuesday."

"Were we?" Emma traced a hand along his arm before her fingers pulled his collar down just enough so she could kiss along his neck slowly. "Why don't you tell me more about why I should audition."

"... distracted," he admitted, and slid his fingers up and along her stomach as reciprocation. "For one, it gives you a chance to see people outside classes, doing something creative."

"I like being creative," she admitted. His touch felt very nice, so she moved upwards to tease at his ear in encouragement. "And I do so love being social."

His hands spanned her waist, now, and suddenly his flesh felt very warm. "And you'd look beautiful," he said. "Titania, even. Think of it."

"You think I could pull-off being the queen of the fairies?" Emma laughed, unable to keep from preening slightly. "That's quite the compliment, Jack, thank you."

Clearly this meant she had to kiss him again, more passionately this time, as a proper thank-you.

It was within the realm of possibility that he'd said it in hopes of making her preen. He returned the kiss with matched passion before adding, "I do and you're welcome."

"Flattery will get you everywhere," she gasped, deciding that now was a perfect time to start on getting rid of his shirt. Clothes needed to come off, now, before she started outright squirming in his lap.

She'd been wanting this since he'd tried to get her to sneak off at the newbie picnic, and even more since the fair. And Emma wasn't the most patient woman at the best of times.

He peeled off the shirt like he and it were both greased. "Everywhere, Emma? I think I like where it's taking me now."

He ran his tongue along the hollow of her throat.

Oh, she liked that. Emma tipped her head back and moaned, feeling the heat rise in her cheeks. "Everywhere," she agreed hazily as she drew her nails down his back. "Anywhere." So long as he did that again.

"Anywhere/" he echoed, lazy and amused, and he did that again as he tried to get her shirt off.

He could have the shirt, and her bra to go with it. "Maybe not in the middle of class," she demurred, throwing her shirt across the room. "But I wouldn't object to wandering off with you sometime."

"There is a hotel in town," he told her, though he was a little distracted by ... well. By the obvious distracting things.

He went to lie down, pulling her along.

Down was good, Emma was perfectly happy to go down.

Totally dirty.

"Are you suggesting an illicit affair?" she asked before kissing him soundly and moving to work on his pants. "We can stay in bed all weekend and live off room service."

"I like that suggestion," Jack said, catching his breath and lifting his hips to help her slide his trousers down. "You want to keep it illicit?"

"Well, neither of us is very good at being proper," Emma reminded him, using the trouser-removal as an opportunity to trail her fingers down the back of his leg. "And suggesting a hotel rather than kicking out one of our roommates for the weekend does sound slightly scandalous."

"Scandalous and considerate," Jack agreed in a murmur against her throat. "The best kind of affair."

Neither of them had any complaints about the next hour or so, until they drifted off to sleep. Waking, Jack opened the window before he left. It wouldn't do to give the mysterious McCoy anything to complain about.
