Emma had been just coming back from the shower when her phone started ringing, and she lunged for it, one hand clutching the towel around her.

"Karla?" she reiterated once the other girl paused for air. "Breathe, darling. Let me find some clothes, and I'll be over momentarily."

It's Ino, you might or might not know me, but that's totally not the important thing—tomorrow night there's going to be a party, 'cause Elena and I thought it'd be a good idea, at Caritas, yes the bar, in the backroom for a marathon covering what, exactly, the cabins are named after and then deciding which is the best. Drinking games are totally encouraged! If you want to come, congrats, you're a judge for your cabin! Let me know, okay? Thanks!"

Oh, great. Of all the phone mix-ups and insanity to happen, Jack had to get that message. At least it could have been worse; he could have gotten the one meant for Alex, or for Kennedy.

So she was going to start by texting him back. I didn't call you yesterday! I was trying to call Sookie, who'd left a weird message on my voicemail!

She hadn't called him! See, Emma was toooootally innocent, and hopefully Jack would leave it at that, and not call her back for more gossip. Then she'd have to pick up, and cringe at thinking about who possibly got what messages that were intended for other people.
